Flower for the Day Peony II 5-26-2020

The peonies have been larger and more abundant than usual this year. This white one is especially nice.

Jan has been very creative with buds and cut flowers this year. She suggests that if you wait for the rock hard bud to soften to the consistency of a marshmallow and then place it in a vase it will slowly open - a breathtaking process. 

Or you can just cut the bloom and place it in a bowl and produce a splendid result.
