Flower for the Day Lily of the Valley 5-10-2020

I grew up with Lily of the Valley (Convalleria majalis) outside my dining room window every spring.  I still count on them coming up each year. 

The little down facing bell shaped flowers are hypnotic.

Matthew 6:28,29 

 And why take ye thought for raiment? 

 Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; 

  they toil not, neither do they spin:  

 

 And yet I say unto you, 

 That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
