Flower for the Day Chrysanthemum 10-7-24

When all else is turning drab this time of year we can count on the outrageous yellow 

colors of the chrysanthemum. The mum dates from the 15 century BCE. Its name is from the Greek

for gold flower. They are spectacular. I have been unable to grow them so that they return the next year

so I love them in containers.
