Flower for the Day Moon Vine 9-1-2020

At the same time that the Queen of the Night (NBC) has been opening up we have another night bloomer.Our moon vine (Ipomoea alba) has been flowering. It is also called white morning glory or moonflower. It blooms in the dark of night and is withered by sunrise. The bloom lives for one night only. The flowers are large and impressive. It is the night before a full moon.
