Flower for the Day Globe Amaranth 9-12-2020

I purchased some globe amaranth (Gomfrena globosa) from my entrepreneurial great nephew many years ago. 

It is still going strong. It grows in the garden or in a container. I put the dry seed heads in a sack and replant them yearly. 

Who doesn't love little purple balls?
