One Sunday morning we were all getting ready to go to church (First Congregational). We heard a tremendous crash. When we went downstairs to check we found that about 25% of the dining room plaster ceiling had spontaneously fallen down onto the dining room table which was fairly new at the time. Other than the ceiling there was minimal damage. There had been a leak to the left of the valley on the roof.We got the leak fixed right away but it took some time to repair the ceiling. I could always see where it had been because the plaster swirls were different. I wonder how it looks now?
