Don's Blog Creativity Rules 12-13-19

After I finished my residency in 1968 I went on active duty into the US Air Force. After some training at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas I drove my young family (Jan, Lee, and Gordon) from St Louis to Anchorage, Alaska. For our first Christmas in Anchorage my artist wife created the most surprising and long lasting ornaments for our tree. Utilizing found local materials she painted these amazing ornaments.

These ornaments, made in 1968, look as good as on the day they were made. They are made from moose
nuggets. They have been placed on our tree yearly for the last fifty-one years.
