Flower for the Day Daydream Tulips 4-19-18

As you know I am not a tulip guy but at Jan's request this year we have Daydream tulips. This 1980 

Darwin hybrid changes color throughout the duration of its bloom. It starts out sunny yellow,

and over the next few days it turns into a soft apricot 

and then a deeper orange.

 

It is like magic.
