This is the final in the series of  Christmas Collages by the artist Jan Sessions.

It is the move from bright colors to those of nature - the move to the more contemplative 

time of Christmas week - what Jan calls a "Quiet Christmas". 

It is no accident that the birth of Christ occurs at the time of the Winter Solstice. It is the 

move from darkness to light - an opportunity to look beyond what we do to who we are.
