Flower for the Day Wall Flower 5-15-19

When spring arrives there is a bright orange color in the wildflower gardens that catches your eye from afar.

The wall flower returns each year bringing me pleasure. The birds have spread it around to different areas. In the mustard family this western wall flower is Erysimum capitum. It is named for growing well near stone walls.
