Greetings: My niece has corrected me.This is indeed a bluebell but instead of the Virginia Bluebell (Mertensia virginica) which has flat ends on the tepals,it is the English Bluebell (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) of ancient folkloric fame
which has strongly re-curved tips at the tepals.
